Einladungsschreiben der IPA Sri Lanka
Dear
Friends,
With the ending of the war against terrorism
and Sri Lanka's ground security situation rapidly
returning to normalcy, there is certainly considerable
focus and interest on the tourism sector, which
is expected to bounce back very soon.
The Sri Lankan people themselves have had a
reputation for hospitality and warmth, where
even a stranger is often welcomed into their
homes, without too much suspicion.
The IPA Section of Sri Lanka eagerly looks forward
to host their fellow brothers for FRIENDSHIP
WEEK in Sri Lanka. We have drawn up an elaborate
itinerary for the visitors in an eventful 10
day programme which will take them to all the
scenic locations and places of historical significance.
This time we have planned a tour to the eastern
coast of the island which was liberated from
the terrorists after 30 years. Trincomalee harbour
is one of the largest and safest Natural Harbours
in the World. It has sunny weather throughout
the year, with white sandy beaches, calm, placid
and warm waters, and ideal for underwater activities
and for Whale watching.
We have planned this 10 nights and 11 days tour
to all the interesting places in the country
including City of Colombo, Pinnawela Elephant
Orphanage which has 89 orphaned elephants of
all ages, Dambulla Cave temple on a rock, Polonnaruwa
ancient City, Minneriya National Park where
wild elephants, wild buffaloes, wild, boar,
spotted deer, sambhur, leopards, are roaming,
Trincomalee, Kandy hill capital and viewing
of Kandy Pageant, The walled City of Galle,
Yala National Park from 15th to 25th August
2010.
The charges are very moderate. We have got the
2009 prices for 2010. It costs only US $ 1000
per person sharing a double room in 3/4/5 star
hotels with all meals, afternoon tea, Transport,
Entrance tickets to sites.
We require a non refundable advance of US $
300 per person by 31st March 2010 and the balance
by 1st May 2010
We have successfully conducted 3 friendship
week in the years 2000, 2003, and 2005,and expect
our members from all sections to participate
